Now I know why the Cocteau Twins named themselves after Jean. I just saw Blood of a Poet which is the beginning of a trilogy. God I was totally amazed by his techniques. His style was just over whelming. In todays world everyone editing so heavily on computers, that
this film has totally restored my faith in avante garde. makes me feel so alive with inspiration. I know I'm being very Shmaltzy, but I don't care. if your an artist and need your creative batteries recharged then watch this movie. You won't thank me for it You'll thank yourself for it.

Rushmore: Rating 8 A film by Wes Anderson, I almost forgot about this movie, thanks to Life Aquatic it made me want to watch this movie. I notice that in a lot of films, that earlier works tend to be a blue print of newer films or completely different films tend to seque into the next film almost like a sequal. perhaps the director is telling something of themselves?I see a little Aquatic life Here, with references to cousteu. the film is about a very smart underacheiver who wants to float the the school he attends. It's a great prep school. Despite his grades. He got in because he wrote a screen play. Bill Murry who is one of my Idols, Plays an assistant dean I guess. that fact that he would compete with a fifteen year old kid for the affections of a teacher is so hillarious. Good Flick!!!

High Tension Rating a generous 7 The only reason why I'm giving this a Generous 7, well two reasons. One it was Gory As Hell!!! One full grown man actually got up and left, and secondly. there is this new Actress at least to me. Man is she sooooooo Hot!!! Her name is Cécile De France.and I'm so much in love with her. God!!!!Man I cant stop thinking about her. Used too, I never knew who was top of my list women I'd like to be with. Well right now she is Number One!!!I first noticed her in "Around the World in 80 days". Its a cute jackie Chan Movie. but when I saw her. She just grew on me very fast. My wife is okay with my little harmless Crush. which I'm glad because she has her Julian Sands.Now back to the Movie Since I was totally distracted with Beauty. I was totally not scared, but I was pretty impressed with the unapologetic use of violence. Which is something I haven't seen in a while. I was very disappointed with the same plot twist used in like 5 movies this past year. where we find out she is the Killer. God that was dumb. Needless to say She was too hot to be scarey. Between her masterbation scene and hot hot Feet. The director obviously has a foot fetish. nice to know I'm not the only one.It was Weak film but the heart was in the right place. Nice Try France maybe next time.
