My Ghost Story... Well Sort of...
My Ghost Story, well Sort of...
I was wondering if there is a way to find out the history of a house, especially ones that where demolished? Also I was wondering if there was a way to find out if someone has been murdered in a house and possibly was haunting it? to Clarify I do not live in this house, I visited it twice.
Around 1992 I was given a polaroid camera for my birthday, which is about the same time I was told about this house on pike street in covington Ky which was condemned. and I guess has or had a history of being void of having any residents.
The legend has it that these fraternity guys had bought that house to fix it up for their New Frat house, Since I do not know the name of the Fraternity, this story will read like a urban legend. But in my mind has some concreteness to it since my friend took me to the house.
Anyway the story has predictable results. the fraternity moves in has a party to Celibrate the new house etc etc, Within one week They began hearing weird noises like rolling sounds in the hallway. and yes the walls dripped blood. I'm sure the story changed over the years with the story tellers own embellishments. I'm trying to tell the story as I was told.
My experience with this story. one day he took me there. The house and the house next to it both where empty. But the House in question was heavily boarded up. i remember the both of us couldn't get out of the car because it was so erie. Eventually we left ASAP. and yet I'm not convinced I believe in Ghosts or anything like that.
the next time I visited the house on Pike st. I braught my camera to take pictures to see if anything would show up. I had five pictures left in the camera. As I was taking pictures, nothing was showing up on film, the pictures where as dark as the house itself. So they where useless
the only strange occurance really, was that the counter on the camera tells how many pictures you have lef,t was counter forwards instead of counting to Zero like all camera are designed to do.
After I had taken 5 pictures of nothing I learned I had 10 extra flashes left on my camera with no film inside. My camera has never done this prior to this event, or afterwards.
the conclusion of the story as I had mentioned this house has been demolished. after a few more years I had found out that the house next to it also had been torn down. not sure if this has anything to to with This House.
Just thought I would share this with everyone.
