UFO part 2
Ok I saw the special... Big Freakin deal! To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I'm disappointed on many levels. first of all, the whole UFO Thing peaked in my interest because there has been no concrete information to prove anything. or at least any new Blurry videos since the mid 90's. Dammit I need my Crack Pot Entetainment. You Crack Pots are getting Lazy. Do I have to go out in the woods film myself in a Big Foot costume and leak it to the press? I'm bored people.
I mean how many times are we going to hear about Roswell? I'm sick of Roswell. It's like the Branson Missouri of Unexplained Mysteries. By now It should be considered a big fat Joke. another reason is because all the Blurry photography they keep showing us, which show nothing. At one point I did see some pretty good video's that most likely were fakes, but Looked as if they were trying their best to make it look real. but that was along time ago. I haven't seen anything remotely interesting since 97 therefore I assumed they were stuck in a no fly zone of information.
All these years more and more tv channels mostly discovery the learning channel national Geographic, were making these documentaries about this subject. Which I find very Odd that these Scientific channels are being so unscientific lately.
But back to Peter Jennings special. I mean come on Peter, are you losing it or something? Whats really weird is that I thought if they, The mainstream news organizations were going to do a story about this. Then they would go about it much differently. Like The Facts or actual proof But I was wrong. Very wrong.
Instead They Rehashed the same old crap I've already heard. Like Roswell Bud hopkins and his crappy weasily method of recovered memory scenario, John Heinrick from Project Blue Book who became a believer after investigating reports and so on and so fourth. then they were some little interviews of people who were abducted and all that crap. I'm sorry and I don't Care.
I don't care how many millions claim to have seen or know somebody who has seen a UFO or believes in Aliens coming to earth. It does not prove anything. Except people believe in Stuff, and can't prove it. Another aspect is that I only saw two people who were designated skeptics for the program. Sadly the only person I recognize was Dr. Michael Shermer who is the publisher of Skeptic magazine, and thats the only person I was familiar with.
Thats not a good balance of experts if you ask me. If you ask me I'm very disappointed they they spent so much time covering all the bases on this subject, and absolutely no new stuff, Frankly I think this was two hours of Filler because the ending was basically the statement on how many people believe in this Subject. Which This is not news.
Anyone with a vague notion, belief or just Skeptic already knows all they need to know, because this information is in bookstores all over America. it's plastered all over magazines and the endless amout of tv shows dedicated to the subject. Everyone knows this stuff. if you were to just grab anyone on the street and quizzed them on the Topic. You'd be amazed on how much they know.
Another Aspect that pisses me off is that last week They showed a promo on this Stupid special. They showed some footage of supposed space craft, which I have never seen before. of course this was very misleading because they didn't show it again.
The Title of the Damn shows was called seeing is believing. Sadly I didn't see anything but lots of people talking who are experts on the matter, mixed with people who claim to have experiences. Sadly this is an obvious direction of whats going on in the news. News isn't good unless its entertaining.
if Walter Kronkite were dead right now, He'd be rolling in his grave.
Thats all I got to say.
